RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 12, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is mild in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts with a significant drop of temperature which remains slightly higher than the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Relatively cold to pleasant conditions are expected for nighttime. Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD expects Thursday’s temperature to further drop and become lower than the seasonal average with partially cloudy to clear and moderate conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Slightly cold conditions are expected for nighttime.

Friday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with pleasant conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Pleasant conditions are expected for nighttime.

PMD expects Saturday’s temperature to rise and approach 3°C above the annual average, paving the way to relatively hot to hot conditions.
