MICHINGAN, May 19, 2025 (WAFA) –Dearborn, Michigan, a city with the largest population of Arabs of Palestinian and Lebanese descent, saw a massive demonstration, attended by thousands of people, to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.
Protesters raised the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans calling for an end to the aggression on Gaza, an end to the Israeli occupation, and accountability for those responsible for the ongoing human rights crimes in the Strip.
Similar demonstrations took place in other American cities, including Washington, D.C., where a protest was held in front of the White House.
In New York, hundreds gathered in Times Square, waving banners demanding an end to the occupation. Other demonstrations took place in Chicago and Los Angeles, where participants expressed their rejection of unconditional American support for Israel.
