BETHLEHEM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 (WAFA) – Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Rola Ma’ay’a said on Saturday that more than three million tourists visited Palestine in 2018.
Ma’ay’a told WAFA that based on data by the Central Bureau of Statistics, 3,049,753 have visited Palestine last year, predicting that based on indicators the number of tourists in 2019 is going to exceed that of last year.
She said her ministry is looking forward to creating an atmosphere that is attractive for tourism, calling for increasing investment in tourism as a vital sector in Palestine.
