RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 12, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday is partially cloudy to clear and cold especially on mountains with a rise in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, active at times and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 14°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD also predicted weather on Sunday to be partially cloudy to clear and very cold with a significant drop in temperature. A chance of scattered rain, thunderstorms and hail at times is expected on some areas, especially the northern, during night hours.

Monday‘s weather is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold with another drop in temperature. Rainy conditions are expected to continue on the northern areas.

Weather on Tuesday is expected to be partially cloudy to clear and cold to very cold and dusty with a slight rise in temperature. A chance of scattered rain, thunderstorms and hail is expected on some northern areas during night hours.

PMD warns people against gusty winds, floods in valleys and low areas and low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds as well as slippery roads.
