RAMALLAH, Friday, January 11, 2019 (WAFA) – Friday’s weather is partially cloudy to clear, relatively chilly in daytime and chilly in nighttime with a slight rise of temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah, a high of 11°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 9°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 7°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Saturday’s temperature is set to further rise with partially cloudy to clear and relatively cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime.

PMD expects weather on Sunday to be partially cloudy to clear, dusty and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with a significant drop of temperature.

Scattered rain showers are expected on some districts, especially the northern, during evening and night hours with thunderstorms and occasional hail.

Monday’s temperature is set to further drop with considerably cloudy and generally chilly conditions. Sporadic rain showers are expected to fall on various districts with thunderstorms and occasional hail.

PMD warns people of frost formation on Friday and Saturday’s early morning.
