RAMALLAH, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy and cold, especially in mountainous districts in morning and evening hours, with a slight drop of temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A slight chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some districts. Wind is northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza.

PMD predicts Thursday’s and Fridays’ temperature to significantly drop as a low pressure affects the region. Thus, the weather is expected to be cloudy, cold to very cold and rainy, along with sporadic rains, which could be torrential, and occasional thunderstorms and hail.

Saturday’s temperature is set to slightly rise. Weather is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold with a chance of sporadic rains, which could be torrential.

PMD warns citizens against gusty winds, low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds, floods formation in low areas and slippery roads on Thursday and Friday.
