JERUSALEM, December 25, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday stormed the town of al-Issawiya, in central occupied Jerusalem and imposed a military cordon around it before proceeding to install new surveillance cameras at the western entrance of the town, said a local official.
Raed Abu Reyaleh, a member of the town‘s follow-up committee, said Israeli forces installed a number of surveillance cameras at the western entrance of the town of al-Issawiya in order to monitor Palestinians’ movement into and out of the town.
Meanwhile, staff from the Israeli West Jerusalem municipality handed residents a number of demolition notices against their homes, as well as photographed other under-construction homes, citing unpermitted construction a pretext.
