JERUSALEM, December 25, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Tuesday detained eight Palestinians in the occupied East Jerusalem area, in addition to two others in the West Bank districts of Jenin and Ramallah, said local sources.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli police detained eight people after raiding and searching their homes in Shufaat refugee camp, al-Tur and Jabal al-Mukkabir neighborhoods, in occupied East Jerusalem.

Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian in the village of Ein Yabrud, northeast of Ramallah city.

Forces reportedly stormed the village of Ein Yabrud amid the heavy firing of tear gas canisters and stun grenades towards residents‘ homes. One of the village residents was detained during the raid.

Forces also detained a youth after raiding, searching, and wreaking havoc into his family home in Jenin refugee camp.
