HEBRON, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 (WAFA) - A twenty-three-year-old youth from Beit Owwa town, south of Hebron, died after being struck by a truck at the entrance of Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, said Palestinian police spokesperson Loay Zreqat.

Zreqat said the young man sustained critical injuries after being struck by a truck late Monday night and was transferred to al-Ahli hospital in Hebron for medical treatment, where he was pronounced dead early Tuesday morning.

He said an investigation is underway in search of the driver who fled the scene.
