RAMALLAH, Thursday, December 20, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold, rainy along with occasional thunderstorms on most districts with a drop in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Cold to very cold conditions with increasing cloudiness are expected in nighttime. Scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms are expected on some districts, starting from the northern, throughout noon and night hours. Wind is southwesterly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 10°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coast.

PMD also expected Friday’s weather to remain partially cloudy to cloudy and cold with a slight rise of temperature. A chance of scattered light rain is expected on some districts.

Saturday and Sunday’s weather continues the same with a further slight rise of temperature. A slight chance of scattered light rain is expected on some districts.

Citizens are warned against low visibility due to formation of fog, low clouds and of slippery roads.
