RAMALLAH, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold, particularly in mountainous districts, in daytime with a drop in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Cold to very cold conditions with increasing cloudiness are expected in nighttime. Scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms are expected on some districts, starting from the northern, throughout noon and night hours. Wind is southwesterly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza.

PMD expects Thursday‘s weather to be mostly cloudy and cold to very cold with another drop in temperature. Scattered rain showers, which could be torrential, along with occasional thunderstorms, are expected on some districts, especially the northern.

Friday’s weather is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold with a slight rise of temperature. A chance of scattered light rains is expected on some districts.

Saturday’s weather continue the same with a further slight rise of temperature. A slight chance of scattered light rains are expected on some districts.

Citizens are warned against low visibility due to formation of fog, low clouds and of slippery roads.
