RAMALLAH, Monday, December 17, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold with a drop in temperature and rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected on some areas especially in the north during evening hours, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly, moderate to active, with strong guts at times. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coast.

PMD also expected weather on Tuesday and Wednesday to remain the same. Temperature is expected to slightly drop again. Scattered rain with occasional thunderstorms is expected on some areas especially in the north during evening hours on Wednesday.

Thursday‘s weather is expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold with another drop in temperature. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected on most areas.

PMD warns people against low visibility due to the formation of fog and low clouds, and of slippery on roads.
