RAMALLAH, Sunday, December 16, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was injured by shrapnel of live bullets after Israeli forces opened fire on his car in the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, the occupied West Bank, said WAFA correspondent.

Israeli forces stationed at the military checkpoint near the western entrance of the town of Silwad, opened live fire toward the car, causing minor shrapnel injuries to the driver.

Forces also opened fire at an ambulance that was present at the scene.

Witnesses said that Israeli forces targeted any vehicle approaching within 400-meters of the checkpoint with live fire.
