JERUSALEM, Sunday, December 16, 2018 (WAFA) – Extremist Jewish settlers on Sunday forced their way into al-Aqsa mosque under heavy protection by Israeli forces, according to local sources.
The settlers broke into the holy Muslim site and performed provocative tours in several parts of the mosque. The settlers also performed Talmudic rituals at the yards of the mosque.
In late 2015, repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by Jewish settlers and Israeli security personnel sparked months-long tensions in the occupied Palestinian territories.
