RAMALLAH, Saturday, December 15, 2018 (WAFA) – The Red Crescent said it treated on Saturday 73 cases of injuries as a result of the Israeli army incursion into Ramallah to demolish a building in Amari refugee camp.
The army operation that involved hundreds of soldiers and dozens of armored vehicles, lasted for over 10 hours and was met with strong resistance from the Palestinian population who pelted the soldiers with stones to prevent the demolition of the building owned by the Abu Hmeid family. The operation however ended after completing the demolition.
The Red Crescent said its crews treated one injury from a live bullet, 22 from rubber-coated metal rounds, 42 from tear gas inhalation and eight from beating.
