JERUSALEM, October 1, 2018 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians Monday suffocated by tear gas fired by Israeli forces during clashes on Monday that broke out in the towns of al-Izariyeh and Abu Dis, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, said WAFA correspondent.
Israeli forces reportedly attacked protesters, who closed off the main street with burning tires and earth mounds, firing a barrage of live fire, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at protesters, causing dozens of suffocation cases among them.
Palestinians in Israel and the occupied territories observed on Monday a general strike in protest against the new racist Israeli law, the Nation-State Basic Law.
