RAMALLAH, August 18, 2018 (WAFA) – Four people were killed and 199 others injured in 307 traffic accidents on West Bank roads last week, the police said in a press statement on Saturday.
It said one of the injuries was serious, 20 moderate and 178 light.
The police also said that out of 10,610 vehicles tested last week, permits of 173 vehicles were revoked for lack of safety conditions, whereas 247 vehicles were destroyed for being illegal. The police said it issued 4872 traffic violations to drivers.
