RAMALLAH, August 16, 2018 (WAFA) – The Israeli military court of Ofer has remanded Palestinian journalist Ali Dar Ali for five more days for further interrogation, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS said Ali has been undergoing interrogation on alleged charges of incitement on social media.
Ali, who works as a reporter for the Palestine Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), was arrested on Wednesday during an Israeli army raid on his hometown village of Burham, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
PBC has denounced Ali’s detention by the Israeli authorities, saying it comes as part of Israeli targeting of the Palestinian media, particularly the official media and Palestine TV.
