DOHA, August 7, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to arrive on Wednesday in Doha, capital of Qatar, for a two-day official visit.

Palestine’s ambassador to Qatar, Moneer Ghannam, said in an interview with Voice of Palestine Radio, that President Abbas is scheduled to meet with Qatar‘s Emir (Prince) Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Thursday.

The ambassador explained hat ‘this important meeting’ which will bring together the president and the Emir of Qatar comes within the framework of coordination of positions with Arab leaders and discussion of bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common concern.
