RAMALLAH, August 6, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli army units detained early Monday a Palestinian journalist during a raid at his home in Rantis, northwest of Ramallah, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said forces raided the home of Ibrahim Rantisi and detained him after thoroughly searching and ransacking his home.
Rantisi, who works with the Turkish TRT television station, is the sixth Palestinian journalist detained by Israel in one week.
Israel detained four journalists last Monday alleging they work for the banned Al-Quds TV and then detained on Wednesday the director of Hawa Nablus radio station Muhammad Muna.
According to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, Israel currently has 22 Palestinian journalists in custody.
