RAMALLAH, March 15, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received on Thursday the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
President Abbas briefed Adhanom on the latest developments in Palestine and the efforts of the Palestinian government to provide quality services to the Palestinian citizens.
The President pointed out that the Palestinian health sector has witnessed a great leap during the last few years, but said there is a need for further support for the sector from the international organization.
