RAMALLAH, March 12, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued 25 administration detention orders against Palestinians in Israeli jails, Mahmoud Halabi, attorney of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society, said on Monday.

The sentences ranged in time between three to six renewable months.

Eleven of the orders were issued against Palestinians detained for the first time or were re-detained after being released.

According to statistics by the Prisoners Support and Human Rights Association, the total number of Palestinian political detainees in Israeli jails has reached over 6119 as of February 2018, including 450 cases under administrative detention; without charge or trial.
