JENIN, March 5, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday detained 12 Palestinians during multiple predawn raids across the West Bank, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli forces detained two Palestinians during a raid that sparked clashes in Qabatia town, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
PPS said forces also raided Kufr Ra‘i town, southwest of Jenin, where they detained a Palestinian.
Forces detained two others after breaking into and ransacking their family homes in the old city of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
In the central West Bank, forces conducted an overnight raid that triggered clashes and resulted in the detention of a Palestinian from Beit Rima village, northwest of Ramallah.
PPS said another was detained during a subsequent raid into Deir Abu Mashaal village, northwest of Ramallah.
In the southern West Bank, a Palestinian was detained from Tuqu town, southeast of Bethlehem.
To the south of Bethlehem, forces detained two Palestinians during a raid into Dura town, southwest of Hebron.
According to PPS, forces detained another from the southern West Bank district of Hebron.
This came after Israeli soldiers detained a Palestinian after physically assaulted him overnight in Khirbet Humsa in the northern Jordan Valley.
In East Jerusalem, Police detained a Palestinian after ransacking his home in Silwan neighborhood.
