RAMLLAH, February 24, 2018 (WAFA) - The Prisoners Commission has petitioned the Israeli military prosecution to release the body of Yasin Saradeeh, who was killed by Israeli forces on Thursday, in order for his family to bury him, Issa Qaraqe, head of the commission, said on Saturday.
Saradeeh, 33, from Jericho, was killed when shot by Israeli soldiers from point-blank in the lower abdomen, according to an autopsy carried out on him at the Israeli forensic center on Friday. He was also severely beaten and suffered fractures and bruises on his head and body.
Qaraqe told Voice of Palestine radio that if the Israeli military delays turning over Saradeeh’s body to his family, then they will appeal to Israeli High Court.
