Clashes renew in Jerusalem village

JERUSALEM, February 1, 2018 (WAFA) – Clashes erupted on Thursday between Israeli forces and teenagers in the village of Hizma, to the east of Jerusalem, on Thursday, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent said clashes erupted when teens removed barbed wires that were recently installed by Israeli army to disconnect the village from the main road, before they were attacked by the army.

The soldiers used live fire, stun grenades and teargas canisters to disperse the teens, who responded by hurling stones and empty bottles at the soldiers.

However, there were no reports of injuries on either side.
