HEBRON, January 30, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli forces raided early Tuesday several neighborhoods in Hebron, to the south of the West Bank, and several area towns where they searched homes and set up military checkpoints at roads leading to them, according to Palestinian security and local sources.
The army set up checkpoints at entrances to of Sair, to the east of Hebron, and Beit Awwa, to the west of Hebron, inspected vehicles while checking people’s identification cards and causing traffic jams and obstructing mobility of people, local sources said.
Israeli forces broke as well into Bani Naim, Sair, Dura, and Dhahriyeh in the Hebron area, searched people’s homes and ransacked them.
Meanwhile, witnesses told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed Azzoun, to the east of Qalqilya in the north of the West Bank, raided homes and searched them while forcing residents, including children, out of the homes and kept them outdoors under cold weather conditions while interrogating a minor at the location. No detentions were reported.
