Israeli authorities distribute demolition notices for two houses near Nablus

NABLUS, January 29, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Monday notified Palestinian owners of two houses and a shed in the village of Beit Dajan, east of the West Bank city of Nablus, of imminent demolition, said a local official.

Head of Beit Dajan village council, Nasir Abu Jaish, told WAFA Israeli soldiers, accompanied by staff from the Israeli civil administration, an arm of the military government, stormed the village in the early morning hours and distributed demolition notices for two double-story houses and a shed used for keeping sheep.

This was the second time the shed will be demolished; it was demolished about a year ago by Israeli authorities.

The orders citied unpermitted construction as a pretext.
