KHAN YOUNIS, December 9, 2017 (WAFA) - A student was injured on Saturday east of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip when Israeli soldiers stationed near the border opened fire at a group of students demonstrating against a US decision recognizing Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
Witnesses said hundreds of students were demonstrating near the border fence against the US decision when Israeli soldiers opened fire at them and showered them with tear gas.
One student was shot and injured. He was taken to hospital where he was reported in moderate condition.
