GAZA, December 9, 2017 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed early Saturday in Israeli strikes at locations south of Gaza City, said the Ministry of Health.
Israeli warplanes attacked several posts in the Gaza Strip on Friday night and Saturday morning injuring more than 20 people, including a toddler who was reported in critical condition.
The Ministry of Health said crews dug out on Saturday from under the rubble bodies of two Palestinians who were killed in the latest air strikes on Gaza City.
The two were identified as Mahmoud al-Atal, 27, from Sheikh Radwan, and Muhammad Safadi, 30, from al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza.
Israel claims the strikes came in response to the Friday firing of rockets from Gaza at southern Israel, which did not cause any harm or damage.
Two other Gazans were killed on Friday when Israeli soldiers stationed at the Gaza border opened fire at Palestinians protesting a US decision declaring Jerusalem as capital of Israel. The two were identified as Muhammad Masri, 30, and Maher Attallah, 54, who died late at night of wounds sustained earlier.
