Israeli forces detain six Palestinians, including two minors during protests in Jenin

JENIN, December 8, 2017 (WAFA) - Israeli army forces Friday arrested six Palestinians from Jenin, during clashes that broke out at the Jalameh military checkpoint to the north of the city.

According to local sources, Israeli soldiers arrested two minors aged 15 and 17 along with another four youth at the Shuhada square, during protests that took place as part of what has been referred to as the day of rage across the West Bank.

Palestinians across the West Bank took part in protests to denounce and condemn US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and plans to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
