AMMAN, December 7, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Thursday met with King of Jordan Abdullah II in Amman to discuss the latest developments concerning the city of Jerusalem.

The closed meeting was attended by crown prince Hussein Bin Abdullah, and the Palestinian delegation including Chief negotiator Saeb Erekat, Member of the central committee Hussein al-Sheikh, intelligence chief Majed Faraj and Palestine Ambassador to Jordan Attallah Khairi.

The meeting comes as part of a series of previous meeting, which were conducted between the two leaders to discuss the changes happening on the ground concerning the holy city and US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
