Malaysia’s PM expresses dismay over US decision on Jerusalem

KUALA LUMPUR, December 6, 2017 (WAFA) - Malaysia‘s Prime Minister, Najib Razak, Wednesday expressed dismay over U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the embassy.

During a meeting with Secretary of the Revolutionary Council of the Fatah movement, Majed Al Fityani, Razak warned against the US plans, which he said, would create crises and increase instability in the region.

He said such action is going to provoke Muslim feelings around the world, and increase worldwide tensions.

Razak added that he will discuss with the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Erdogan the repercussions of this plan and ways to prevent its implementation.
