President Abbas stresses immediate reconciliation to face the dangers ahead

 

RAMALLAH, December 6, 2017 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas stressed the necessity of exerting all efforts and putting aside differences while working immediately to achieve national reconciliation in order to face the grave dangers facing the Palestinian cause at all levels.

He said, "We have worked for the success of reconciliation. We have instructed the government to go to the Gaza Strip to work on finding solutions to the daily suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip and to make appropriate recommendations.”

He called on the Palestinian people and political forces to focus on the challenges facing the national project by taking advantage of the opportunity to achieve national unity and the unification of the people and land, which will be considered the real response to all attempts to harm our rights guaranteed by international laws.

President Abbas expressed appreciation to the important role played by Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to achieve national reconciliation and its interest in exerting all efforts to overcome any obstacles facing the achievement of the unity of the Palestinian people and land.
