RAMALLAH, December 5, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas discussed on Tuesday with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron efforts exerted by Macron with US President Donald Trump regarding the latter’s plans to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel or relocate the U.S. embassy to the city.
Abbas told Macron in a phone call that he appreciates France’s efforts to achieve a just peace and stability in the region.
