Weather: Further drop in temperature, rainfall

 

RAMALLAH, November 22, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy and relatively cold with a slight drop in temperature approaching six degrees Celsius below its annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered rain, along with thunderstorms, are expected on some areas at times.

Wind is westerly to northwesterly, moderate to active and strong at times. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem on Wednesday is expected to reach a high of 13 degrees Celsius during the day and drops to 9 degrees at night. In Ramallah, a high of 11 degrees and a low of 8 degrees are expected. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, a high of 22 degrees and a low of 13-15 degrees are expected. Temperature in Gaza and the coastal areas is expected to reach a high of 19 degrees and a low of 13 degrees Celsius.

Temperature is expected to rise on Thursday while remaining five degrees Celsius lower than the annual average.

Temperature continues to rise on Friday through Saturday but generally remain below seasonal average by a slight margin.
