Weather: Temperature remains higher than annual average

 

RAMALLAH, November 18, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday remains higher than the annual average by six degrees Celsius with partially cloudy to clear skies, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem on Saturday is expected to reach a high of 25 degrees Celsius during the day and drops to 15 degrees at night. In Ramallah, a high of 23 degrees and a low of 14 degrees are expected. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, a high of 32 degrees and a low of 20 degrees are expected. Temperature in Gaza and the coastal areas is expected to reach a high of 26 degrees and a low of 18 degrees Celsius, according to the PMD.

Significant drop in temperature is expected for Sunday to become around its annual average with slight chance of rain.

Another drop in temperature is expected for Monday to reach two degrees Celsius below seasonal average with chance of rain on most areas, particularly at night.

Temperature is expected to drop significantly on Tuesday to become five degrees Celsius below average with rain and thunderstorms expected on most areas.
