RAMALLAH, November 13, 2017 (WAFA) - Palestine’s ambassador to Iraq, Ahmad Aqel, told Voice of Palestine radio on Monday that all members of the Palestinian community in Iraq were fine and none was hurt by the earthquake that hit the area.
He said damage from the earthquake was restricted mainly to property.
At least six people were killed in western Iraq when a magnitude 7.3 earthquake hit western Iran and the Iraqi border towns on Sunday evening. Several buildings have collapsed.
Iran reported over 330 people dead and many more wounded in the earthquake.
