Israeli forces detain four Palestinians in West Bank

BETHLEHEM, November 3, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Friday detained four Palestinians during military raids into the West Bank districts of Bethlehem and Jenin, said local and security sources.

Forces detained a 29-year-old Palestinian after raiding, searching, and wreaking havoc into his family home in the Bethlehem area. A man, aged 40, was also detained from  inside a café in central Bethlehem city.

The army detained two other Palestinians in Jenin’s town of Qabatiya.

Large military forces reportedly stormed the town of Qabatiya in the predawn hours, and conducted a large-scale search campaign into residents’ homes, leading to clashes.

A number of residents suffocated after inhaling tear gas fired at them by the army. They were all treated at the scene.
