RAMALLAH, November 1, 2017 (WAFA) – As the Palestinian government prepares to take over control over the Gaza Strip, it decided on Wednesday to stop collection of all illegal taxes and fees in the Strip, according to Hussein al-Sheikh, minister of civil affairs.
He said the government will collect fees, taxes and customs only as required by the law.
All Gaza revenues were handled by the outgoing Hamas authority.
