Israeli forces detain 10 Palestinians in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, October 31, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained 10 Palestinians mostly in multiple predawn raids across the West Bank, bringing the total to 26.

Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said Israeli forces detained three Palestinians after storming their family homes in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah city.

Forces detained two others in separate predawn raids into Kobar and Deir Nitham villages, north and northwest of Ramallah.

Another was handcuffed and detained from Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

In the northern West Bank, forces conducted several raids across Nablus, detaining three Palestinians.

In the southern West Bank, forces conducted a similar raid into Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, detaining a Palestinian.

This came after a total of 16 Palestinians were detained in raids across several West Bank districts Tuesday overnight and Monday evening.
