Weather: Temperature lower than annual average, rain expected

 

RAMALLAH, October 31, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy, with a slight rise in temperature while remaining three degrees Celsius lower than annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some areas, especially in the northern areas.

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem on Tuesday reaches a high of 22 degrees Celsius during the day and drops to 14 degrees at night. In Ramallah, a high of 18 degrees Celsius is expected and a low of 13. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of  20 degrees are expected. In Gaza, temperature is expected to reach a high of 25 degrees and a low of 17 degrees Celsius. 

The PMD also predicts weather on Wednesday to remain the same. A slight chance of scattered rain shows is expected.

Partially cloudy skies continue to prevail on Thursday. A slight drop in temperature and a chance of scattered rain showers are also expected.

While Friday’s weather is expected to remain partially cloudy, a further drop in temperature is expected. A chance of scattered rain showers is also expected.
