JENIN, October 30, 2017 (WAFA) – A truck driver was injured on Monday by Israeli forces‘ gunfire during clashes that broke out between the forces and young men in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, local sources said.
The Palestinian Red Crescent told WAFA that Israeli forces, along with a unit of undercover Israeli soldiers, shot directly at a garbage truck driver as he was collecting garbage and injured him in the leg. He was moved to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Severe damages was reportedly caused to the truck as a result of the shooting.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained two Palestinian youths from Jenin refugee camp near the city after raiding their homes.
Clashes erupted between the soldiers and camp residents but no casualties were reported.
