Israel detains 8 Palestinians in West Bank, places 3 minors under house arrest

 

RAMALLAH, October 25, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday detained eight Palestinians from across the West Bank districts and placed three minors from East Jerusalem under house arrest, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and sources.

Israeli army detained three Palestinians from the southern West Bank district of Hebron, in addition to three others from the Bethlehem area, said the PPS.

Forces also detained an 18-year-old from Qalqilia’a town of Jayoos, and a man, aged 48, in Tulkarem refugee camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli police released from detention on Wednesday three minors from East Jerusalem after their families posted bail of $285 for each and on condition they are kept under house arrest for five days, said local sources.
