JERUSALEM, October 24, 2017 (WAFA) – Staff from the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem Tuesday served demolition notifications to a number of houses in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, said WAFA correspondent.

Staff from the Israeli municipality, accompanied by police, distributed a new batch of demolition notices in Silwan under the pretext of being built without a permit.

Furthermore, staff from the Israeli water company, Gihon, cut off the water supply from a number of homes in Silwan under the pretext of accumulated debts. The staff, protected by police, took away the water meters.
