RAMALLAH, October 12, 2017 (WAFA) - Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased in Palestine during September by 0.65% compared with August, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.
CPI increased in Gaza by 1.39%, by 0.28% in Jerusalem area not annexed by Israel and by 0.14% in the West Bank.
When compared to September 2016, CPI had decreased by 0.14%. The decrease was by 0.83% in the West Bank, while it increased by 1.34% in Jerusalem and by 0.27% in Gaza Strip.
CPI during the first nine months of 2017 increased by 0.10% compared with the same period of the previous year. It increased by 2.47% in Jerusalem and by 0.14% in the West Bank, while it decreased by 0.27% in Gaza Strip.
