RAMALLAH, October 10, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained seven Palestinians in multiple overnight raids in occupied East Jerusalem and in the West Bank including a woman and a minor, said Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and local sources.
Israeli forces raided Yatta town, south of Hebron, where they detained a Palestinian woman identified as 30-year-old Khadija Ribee.
They also conducted a similar raid into Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, where they detained a 14-year-old minor.
Muhammad Awad, coordinator of anti-settlement and anti-wall committee, said Israeli troops ransacked another house in the town, wreaking havoc into furniture and attempted to assault the owner.
Elsewhere in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces detained a 17-year-old Palestinian teen after storming his family home at Wadi Shahin neighborhood in the biblical city of Bethlehem.
Two other Palestinians were detained in separate raids from the northern West Bank districts of Nablus and Tulkarem.
Israeli police detained two Palestinians after breaking into their family homes in East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Issawiya.
