RAMALLAH, October 3, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces conducted multiple overnight raids across the West Bank, detaining 12 Palestinians in addition to eight others detained in occupied East Jerusalem, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Tuesday.
Israeli forces detained a Palestinian after storming and ransacking his home in Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah city.
They also detained another Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his family home in Budrus town, northwest of Ramallah.
Two more Palestinians were detained in a similar raid into Deir Abu Mashaal village, northwest of Ramallah.
Meanwhile, forces detained two Palestinians, including an injured one, from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
In the northern West Bank, forces detained three Palestinians in a raid into Iraq al-Tayeh village, southeast of Nablus.
They also detained a Palestinian teenage after thoroughly searching his family home during a raid that triggered clashes in Jenin refugee camp.
This came as Israeli police detained a Palestinian while working in a construction site in Israel. The detainee was identified as a resident in Wadi Burqin, southwest of Jenin.
