HEBRON, September 23, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli military forces Saturday detained two Palestinian minors in Hebron in the southern West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.
They told WAFA that an army force raided Bab al-Zawiyeh area in the center of Hebron and detained Salim Mohammad Samouh, 14, and Hamdi Khalil Qawasmeh, 14.
No reason was given for the detention of the two minors, which is a daily Israeli activity against Palestinians in the occupied territories.
Prisoners’ advocacy groups say there are currently more than 6000 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails, many of them minors, held for resisting the 50-year old Israeli occupation of their homeland.
