RAMALLAH, September 19, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor for international affairs Nabil Shaath said the President will focus on the US initiative to revive peace process and the implementation of the two-state solution.
Shaath told Voice of Palestine radio that Abbas will demand an end to the Israeli occupation, in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy, although Trump did not mention any of his statements of the two-state solutions.
He said the US initiative to revive the peace process is not formed yet, as the US delegation had asked for a period of three to four months to finalize ideas formed by US administration envoys during their meetings with the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
