RAMALLAH, September 11, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained in overnight raids 16 Palestinians from East Jerusalem and across the West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Monday.
Israeli police detained three Palestinians from East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan.
Forces also detained five Palestinians in separate raids into Ramallah-district towns of al-Mughayyir, Ein Yabrud and Sinjil.
Three other Palestinians were detained in raids across Hebron district in the southern West Bank.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli troops raided Yabad, west of Jenin, where they detained two Palestinians, including an elderly blind man.
Three other Palestinians, including a former prisoner, were also detained in subsequent raids into Nablus and Tulkarem districts.
